ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in Toronto, ON Canada, artist Adrienne Dagg explores the dynamic power of figurative painting. With oil as her primary painting medium, she wields a naturalistic, expressive style based on observation and mixes it with a surrealist twist. A recipient of the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Award for figurative art, she graduated with a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal in 2011 and received her MFA from the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2020. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and the United States and is held in many private collections. Adrienne Dagg currently lives and works from her studio in Edmonton, Alberta.
